Here is a serious question, What are you worth? On a yearly basis, if you had to put a value on your time, what would the dollar amount be? $50,000, $100,000, a million dollars? Really think about it. If you considered everything you know how to do, how valuable your time is, and come up with a dollar amount where you say to yourself, “this is what I’m worth”, is that what you are earning right now?
If you said yes, than, rock on! You are one of the few of us. If you said no, what do you think that is? The truth is nobody will ever pay you what you think you are worth, other than yourself. And contrary to the mass thinking of our society, you do have a choice in the matter. You have a choice whether or not you are going to work for someone who will not pay you what you know you are worth, or working for yourself. When you get down to it, everything in life is a choice, including how much money you make. Not to piss anybody off, but with increased success, comes increased responsibility. You do NOT get to become successful, until YOU take responsibility for your failures.
Most people like to take the easy way out, ‘it’s my bosses fault I don’t make more money, it’s the company’s fault, it’s my spouses fault, it’s the dogs fault, the moon is in the wrong phase’, and on and on with a complete defeatist attitude where no responsibility is taken for their station in life.
The harsh truth? If someone or something else is responsible for your failures, than they are also responsible for your success. For myself, I decided that no one and nothing would be responsible for my success other than myself. I took a long, hard look at myself and said, “Self, if you want different results, YOU have to be the one to take action and go out and get those results!”
And that is exactly what I did. I took responsibility for my past failures and chose to only focus on my future successes. Now I own my own business I can operate from anywhere on the planet, write my own paychecks, and am able to enjoy the lifestyle I knew I deserved.
The other harsh truth for this story is ‘so can YOU!’ You need to take action on your dreams and aspirations. No one else is going to do it for you, and hopefully by now you have come to the realization that you are never going to win the lottery.
Do yourself a favor, put a dollar value on your time and expertise, define some long and short term goals for yourself, and take action on them. It is the only way you will ever earn what you know you are worth.
If you are ready to take that first step, click the link and fill out the short form provided to use the exact same system I do to write my own paychecks and lead the awesome lifestyle that goes along with all of the freedoms it provides. Right here >>>>> http://www.erikcairo.com

When I first started looking for an online business system, I was completely knocked out by the amount of absolute garbage that was pitched to me as a legitimate business opportunity. There was just so much crap out there promising me the world for only a few dollars and no effort. Being a born skeptic, it was easy for me to weed out the legit opportunities from the scams. What I came to realize is that the internet marketing world was full of, um, marketers. And since the advertising guidelines on the internet are flexible, at best, it seemed that most people were out to make a quick buck, and I found very few that could back up their income claims as well as their promises of full training, marketing materials, and a ongoing support team.
Obviously, I have spent quite a bit of time, and a fair amount of money learning what works online, and what does not. This research lead to me building a successful and profitable online business, and I am going to share with you two things that will help you cut through the scams and B.S. artists and find a legitimate business opportunity.
1. Find a Mentor. This is a HUGE point when shopping for a business opportunity. There is no reason you should spend your time “reinventing the wheel”, when people like myself have already mined the internet for what works and what makes money. These programs that offer no training and no support are , without a doubt, going to take your money and you will be lucky to ever speak to a person involved with that program again. Your mentor, ideally, should have a financial interest in your success. I do not care what you do, or what you may be willing to admit or deny, but money is a motivating factor. Our society, as a whole, operates as one that requires money to eat, to have shelter, and to enjoy our lives. If mentor has a financial interest in your success, they are going to dedicated to helping you find your way through the marketing jungle. Looking, and signing up for the low cost, or free opportunity is going to get you exactly what you pay for, not much, or nothing at all. In my business, the better my team does the more money I make as well. so be me investing my time with my new team members to help them achieve their goals, I also achieve mine. Win, Win!
2. Find a System. Generally, you would get involved with a system recommended by your mentor. This is not always the case, which is fine, but you must have a marketing system in place. When I speak of a system, I mean you should have a marketing system that takes care of the sales process for you. This will give you leverage. If I spent all my time on the phone, endlessly pitching and selling to people, I would not have the time to enjoy and live my life on my terms. This is the main reason I, and presumably you, got into this type of business in the first place. I use a system that takes care of the sales, and the follow – up process, and automates as much of the business as possible. This gives me leverage, and allows me to travel when I want, go to the beach, play guitar with my band, and altogether give me my lifestyle freedoms. I call it working smarte, not harder, and I let my marketing system do the work for me.
What I did not talk about is products. Don’t get me wrong, having a great product to market is essential to your business success. But even if you had the best product on the planet, without a mentor to show you how to market that product, and a marketing system that can do the selling for you, you will be no better off than the guy who just throws up a replicated website and hopes for the best (98% of these people fail, 2% lucky).
Finding a mentor and a marketing system that provides leverage are two main components to having a successful online business. Please remember to do your due diligence when checking out mentors and systems, by doing this research you will avoid a multitude of headaches down the road.

Part of the essential mindset to being successful in any business, is to first be the person you want to become. This is the heart of the Be, Do, Have Principle.
Most people think that they will change the way they act (“I’ll be this person…) after obtaining a some form of success (when I have these things.”) This is a backward way of thinking towards success. Most people want to have things first, be the ideal person next, and lastly, take action. Also known as the Have, Be , Do, Backasswards Principle. By thinking this way, they are only obstructing their path to success.
I have spent countless hours studying the most successful internet marketers and entrepreneurs, and the one thing we all have in common, is that we all began our online careers by first being the person we wanted to become. By starting out as the leader, the authority, the expert, we were looked at as the person people wanted to work with. It was after establishing this identity that the sales and successes started to pile up. By teaching others how to adopt this persona we were all able to transfer that success to others.
Operating at a high success level is not for everyone, due to the Be, Do, Have Principle. Most people are unable to get out of their comfort zones and begin to be the person they need to be to obtain the success that they are looking for. The reality of this comfort zone mindset, is that for as long as you refuse to change the person you are, you will never be the person you wish to become, and that will only lead to failure. It won’t be because the system you use failed, it will be because YOU have failed. Not an easy pill to swallow for most.
The Be, Do, Have Principle is one of the reasons why I have been able to achieve the level of success that I enjoy today. I decided who I really wanted to be and took ACTION accordingly. By taking that action first, the results that I was looking for with my business followed.
If you are someone who is ready to begin having the amazing lifestyle that can come with owning a successful online business, your first ACTION step is to go to http://www.erikcairo.com, fill out the form, and the system will walk you through your next steps to creating a highly profitable internet business.

Having and projecting a successful attitude is a fundamental key to achieving the success you are seeking with your home based business. The principle that I use to have those successes is what I call the Be, Do , Have Principle.
Most people think to themselves, “I’ll be this person, when I have these things”. Most people are thinking that will change how they think and who they are, only after they have had a certain amount of success. This is a completely backwards way of thinking. The whole “trick” to being successful is that you must first BE the person you want to become. By projecting this successful attitude the sales and material gains will follow. By doing things backward, having things first, being the ideal person to work with, and then taking action, you will never get anywhere with your business. You are operating with the Have, Be, Do Principle, instead of the Be, Do, Have Principle.
I spend a lot of time studying the most successful entrepreneurs, and the most successful internet marketers, and the one thing that we all have in common is that we all began acting like the person we wanted to become. Being the leader, the expert, and the authority that people wanted to work with. By having this attitude of success the sales and successes started coming in.
Achieving a high level of success is not for everyone, due to the Be, Do, Have Principle. Most people simply are not willing to get out of their comfort zones, and begin to Be a different person. The reality is that for as long as you keep on being the same person, nothing will change.
The Be, Do, Have Principle is one of the reasons I have been able to achieve the level of success that I enjoy today. I decided who I really wanted to be and took action to realize accordingly. The results followed. It was not the other way around.
Your first step to achieving the goals you have in mind for yourself and your business is to take action in that direction. Check out what myself and others are doing to be successful and take action.

Social Media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook are great tools to help implement your marketing strategy. 10% of time spent online by all internet users is spent on Facebook alone. That is a huge outlet to get your message out. Here are three basic steps to using social media to maximize your marketing.
1. The most important thing to keep in mind while marketing in social media sites is to deliver value. By value, I mean you should be providing your friends and followers with content that will help them, whether or not they choose to purchase your products or sign up with whatever program you are marketing. The 80/20 rule is a good guideline to follow when providing value and sales pitches. This means 80% value content to 20% sales pitch. If all of your tweets and posts are sales pitches, potential prospects will become quickly annoyed, consider your posts spam, and ultimately go somewhere else to find what they are looking for. To break it down further, for every five tweets you post, only one should be a sales tactic while the other four should be something valuable from them to read.
2. You have to keep in mind that above all, social media sites are SOCIAL! You must interact with others. Facebook and Twitter are not one way streets, they are a conversation Imagine that you are having a face to face conversation with someone. There would an exchange of ideas, comments on those ideas, and complements would be exchanged about the value and help provided. Social media site work the same way.
3. Never forget to provide a call to action.v What this means, simply, is telling people what to do next. That could be directing them to your website, checking out your latest blog post or video, or to download your free report. Whatever it is , never assume people will just do it on their own. You have to tell people what to do next, and always provide a call to action.
These three steps may seem a little basic, but by actually implementing them, into your marketing campaign and strategy, and tending to them as needed, you will see a growing interest in what you have to offer as well as making some new connections.

Everyone with a website, business or otherwise, wants to drive traffic to that site for free. There are a lot of ways to do this, and a lot of them can be very time consuming. Here are a few shortcuts to help minimize the time you spend attempting to drive free traffic to your site.
The first to driving free traffic, is to clearly identify who you are marketing to. Most people try to market to everyone, for fear of losing a sale. The problem with this is, if you are not clear on who you are marketing to, your prospects can get confused on whatever it is your are marketing is what they are looking for. You must clearly identify your target market.
After defining your market, the next step is to put yourself in that position and do something I call ” playing prospect”. That is, pretend you are the prospect, go to a search engine and plug in some search terms and see if what you are looking for pops up. Be sure to compile a list of all the search terms you use as this will lead you to your next step for driving free traffic.
What you want to do with that list of search terms is to create content containing those terms. Creating content is one of the best ways to drive free traffic and show up in the natural or organic search engine listings. 80% of people still use the natural listings to find what they are looking for. Content can be created with blog posts, articles, and press releases.
Of course, there is more to these free traffic generating techniques, but if you are already marketing online, it will be well worth your time to explore them more deeply and actually do them. Then you can start driving free traffic to your website.

You, as an entrepreneur have your own business so you can be in control over every aspect of that business. You can make all decisions, work when and where you choose, and decide your own paycheck. However, if you are not using your business system smartly, you can easily end up with the business owning you and not owning your business. There are three basic pitfalls that can lead to this obviously unwanted situation.
Pitfall 1. The “Jack of All Trades, I’ll Do it All Myself” Pitfall. This is exactly what it sounds like. Trying to the marketing department, sales person, web designer, secretary, and the support team is will not translate into success. It is simply impossible to be all the things your business needs at all times. Outsourcing or the hiring of someone else is a logical choice to help this problem, but too often the thinking is that you will do it next month or “I can’t afford now”. The reality is, if you attempt to do everything yourself, you are going to drown in the tasks that do not produce income. You must learn how to delegate those smaller responsibilities and focus only the activities that build your businesses.
Pitfall 2. Another common mistake is never taking any time off. Granted, getting an online business, or any business, off the ground is hard work. By not taking a full 24 hours off, at least once a week, serious burnout can come into play. Burnout can lead you to forgetting why you even started the business in the first place. When this happens, you can find yourself wanting to quit your business entirely too soon. By forcing yourself to take that one full day off per week, when you return to work you will find that you have more energy, are more focused, and building your business can be that much easier.
Pitfall 3. Trying to “Re-Invent the Wheel”. Please do not let yourself fall into the traps of being distracted by the endless new ideas and latest, greatest marketing tools. There is no need to try to figure everything out for yourself. You can leverage other people’s knowledge, systems, and success. This is really the name of the game when it comes to working smart, leverage.
Getting a business off the ground can be a lot of work, if you do it the hard way. The key is to work smart. You must use a system that allows you to do so and provide a lot of leverage so that you can enjoy the lifestyle you had in mind when you set out to build your business in the first place.
If you are ready to actually own a business instead of the business owning you check out the system I use to work smart, and leverage the success of other check out www.erikcairo.com for a complete business overview.

There are a tremendous amount of different business opportunities on the internet, and finding the right one can be a daunting task. To help you find the right one, I’m going to share a secret with you that is pretty powerful once you realize the logic behind it.
What I’m talking about is price points. This applies to offline businesses as well. It is a common occurrence among entrepreneurs that they get scared that nobody will buy from them if they think that their products are too expensive. They try marketing products that are super cheap or they lower the price points of their own products, trying to entice people to buy from them. While there are no hard and fast rules online, here is basically what happens; the lower the price point of your product, the lower quality of the prospect. What will happen to the entrepreneur is that they will have to spend a lot more time coaching and training that lower quality prospect, and that time translates into more work and earning less money. For example, say you want to make $100,000.00. Your choices are toy airplanes or real airplanes. The toy planes cost $10.00 each. That means to make $100,000.00 you are going to have to sell 10,000 toy airplanes! Sounds like a lot of work! On the other hand you can make $100,000.00 with just one real airplane sale. Same money, a lot less work. I realize that this is an over-dramatic example, but you can see the logic behind this thinking. Lower price point, a lot more work, higher price point, less work.
What you must understand is that the price points of what you are selling, will determine the quality of your prospects and the amount of work you will have to put in to achieve your financial goals. It is a fact that the higher priced and higher quality products attract a higher quality prospect.
I choose to sell high ticket items because I would rather work with a few serious minded individuals than a great many other people who are looking for a quick buck and are not as serious as I am about making a substantial living from home.
The pay-off is more than worth the effort.

If you are looking to start an internet business or already have one and have not quite figured out how to make it work there are two things to keep in mind about what really makes money for your business. Those two things are 1. Driving Traffic and 2. Converting traffic. These two marketing principles work for any business, online or offline, be it pet clothing or a business opportunity. Sounds easy right?
Where most people lose their way on the road to internet business success is that there is so much “how – to” information. There is almost endless information on everything from social media strategies, SEO, press releases, article marketing, pay per click, free advertising, the list goes on and on. What happens is you get a serious case of information overload and distraction. This pulls you away from focusing on those paramount guidelines of 1. Driving traffic and 2. Converting traffic. By diverting your attention away from those two things and pointlessly checking out ‘what this guy is doing’, reading more ebooks, and considering if you should take yet another online marketing course you are doing everything except the activities that will actually make you money.
Continually educating yourself is a great thing, but to start making more money with your business it is a good idea for you to actually start keeping a log or journal to track your activities. Keep the log for a week or two and then review what you have done. Divide the log into two lists, one list being what you do to drive and convert traffic, and the other list of all the other stuff. For example, listening to training calls will not make one cent, but placing ads will. You will be surprised what you will find what falls into what list.
Remember, FOCUS is one of the major keys to your success, no matter what type of business you have or what you are selling. So keep your time management in check and only focus on what will truly make you money.

The importance of the state of your working environment can be just as important as the actual work you are doing. Here are few things to keep in mind for home office work area.
1. Your own space. It is of vital importance for you to have a dedicated work area. It will help you remain focused if you have a set space for yourself. Even better if your space is an actual room with a door you can close to shut out distractions.
2. Set Hours. Having a home business or job is just like having an away from home business or job., you have to go to work! Of course, working from home allows you the freedom to work when you want, but you need to set those hours. Morning, noon, or night, it does not matter as long as you keep your hours. Having work hours will help keep you in the right frame of mind for accomplishing whatever tasks need to be performed on any given day.
3. Proper Equipment. Ask yourself, ‘What do I need?’, for your work space. For me, it is a computer, printer, and a dedicated phone line that is just for business. Your needs may vary, but make sure you have what you need.
4. Organize your space. I don’t know about you, but I cannot get anything done in a messy work space. Too much dated junk on my bulletin board, loose papers that need to filed properly, empty coffee mugs, all of these things distract me. The first thing I do before turning on my computer is to make sure there is no debris floating around that will get in my way of getting the things done that must be done that day. Having a clean and tidy work area will also help keep you focused in the tasks at hand.
By having the proper working environment you will be giving yourself yet another advantage on your road home business success. To use the same system I do in concert with a proper home working environment check out this link www.erikcairo.com
